“Time to travel back in time to the 1800’s to the thriving seaport and the area known as “Judges Row” which includes a short walk South from the green memorial house and the four corners to Appanoug Bridge.”
The Remington house also known as the house at three 376 for many years was a residence. Home that was once owned by Henry Remington, a Revolutionary soldier and the son of a well known sea captain, Thomas Remington. Henry purchased the land from Thomas Arnold, one of the area’s largest landholders, and then built this beautiful stately home in 1801. This handsome old building is now the Remington house, one of Warwick’s finest restaurants. Known not only for its impeccable flair for ambiance, but it’s unique and award winning menu that changes with the seasons. Chef…… prides himself on creating one of a kind dishes that will leave you dreaming of it when you leave….enticing you back again and again.
